Following on from their beautiful A/W14 menswear campaign iconic British fashion brand Allsaints have followed it up with an October lookbook update, showing you what to expect from their menswear offering as we transition into autumn. I have always been a huge fan of the brand with it’s unique styling and aesthetic, there really is no one else like them on the high street. Their menswear offering is consistently strong and always delivers cutting edge styling that manages to constantly pay tribute to the brand’s traditional history, however autumn / winter is always where Allsaints hits a home run year after year.
The Allsaints aesthetic is all about texture, luxury materials and expert craftsmanship and it fits in so well with the quintessentially British autumn which warrants outfits that will endure the gloomy elements. Even though every outfit here is carefully planned and purchased they all seem like they have been taken from the latest street style trends from places like Shoreditch, Dalston and Brick Lane showing how on trend their menswear collections have become.
Without a doubt the key strengths here are the outerwear and knitwear, I can’t even pick a front runner in each category given the consistency in craftsmanship here. Playing to another strength Allsaints have included new additions to their signature leather jacket collection, this season’s shearling addition is absolutely beautiful and quite possibly their best leather jacket to date.
Bravo Allsaints, I’m smitten.
