Boohoo Man & Boohoo have recently launched their gender neutral ‘Love is Love‘ collection, a 30 piece collection celebrating love in all forms in partnership with the Terrance Higgins Trust and The Rainbow Fund. With June being global pride month it has seen countless campaigns by various retailers to support LGBTQ+ causes and charities, it’s amazing to see boohoo joining the rally given their huge influence with such a young demographic. Slogan prints play a huge part in the messaging behind the collection. The love is love hoodie can be worn so that when holding hands it continually reads love is love, love is love…. while more impactful designs read f**k hate with flower asterisks and love is a terrible thing to hate.
Gender neutrality is at the forefront of this collaboration with each design available in various colourways, tones, fits and sizes. Purple, pink, blue and grey form the base of the range while an edit of the collection celebrates Pride through the use of the rainbow flag. What I love about the collection is it is bold enough to clearly celebrate the minorities it is supporting but there are pieces that are subtle enough to be worn by allies of the community. Having allies is so important and this amazing boohoo collection proves you don’t need to be someone who identifies with a minority to support it and help raise it higher in society.
