With last week’s little burst of sunshine I’ve started getting excited about summer, so naturally, I’ve started looking at SS19 lookbooks to get inspired – first up BooHoo Man. For those of you who’ve been living under a rock for a few years, BooHoo Man is a British fast-fashion retailer with a huge online presence, they’ve started to give some of the bigger players a run for their money with trend-led pieces at affordable prices. I’m always drawn to them for their sense of fun and independent spirit, quite a lot of their men’s looks are different to what everyone else is doing which is great for some refreshing alternatives – we don’t all have to look the same!
For me it’s all about the two-piece sets throughout the collection, from photo prints to palm trees they’re so on point right now – I spend most of my summer in a romper so matching co-ords are right up my street. They are such an easy way to stand out and make a fashion statement, while at the same time being comfortable and inoffensive. The strong retro Americana vibes really help set this lookbook off with it’s 90’s boy band style and cultural references, perfect for the Netflix generation. For those just looking to update their wardrobe or get those festival must-haves, there’s plenty there for you too from acid tye dye to leopard print macs – definitely a collection worth checking out!
