Summer is coming to an end and before you know it we will be putting the Christmas decorations up, but first off we have autumn coming up – my favorite season when it comes to fashion. Autumn is all about transitional pieces getting ready for heavy layering, cracking out the darker tones and knitwear and best of all, dusting off your big coats. I find menswear really comes alive in autumn with so many retailers stepping into their strongest season. We always see a lot of tailoring elements, dark colours and premium fabrics coming through – which elevates the whole experience of styling in these months. Having recently launched their latest studio collection, high street giant H&M have put forward their latest lookbook for their core menswear lines. Shot on an iconic American strip the collection is a healthy balance of casual wear and formal looks, mixed in their styling to show the versatility of the offering. Yellow, purple and a refreshing take on millennial pink are the key accent colours here, to break up the traditional blacks, greys and browns we expect from autumnal fashion. Another strong offering from H&M as competition heats up on the high street, not to mention their own sub brands growing along side them.
