Spring is finally here so naturally the world of fashion is already focused on summer, sometimes it’s so hard to keep up. Following on from the spring menswear lookbook Swedish fashion giant H&M have released a teaser for their upcoming summer offering for menswear. Minimalism is a huge trend this season and lookbooks have ditched prints & patterns in favor of white washing and a clean-cut look, SS15 is a very sophisticated affair. The stripped back collection focuses on a grey and blue colour scheme which is quite refreshing for summer, no graphic prints to be found. Linen shirts and casual tailoring are key looks with an amazing double breasted white blazer being a big statement piece, it feels so effortlessly stylish. There’s definitely still an underlying sports theme here, a trend that doesn’t seem to be going anywhere but within this collection it really works. Structured joggers and sports shorts give a comfortable mix of smart and casual, ‘smasual’ is one of the biggest emerging trends this year in menswear. For me as a huge fan of jackets the grey suede biker jacket is my favorite piece by far and it will definitely be making it’s way into my wardrobe, as for the rest of the collection it’s a perfect capsule wardrobe for summer.
