It’s no secret I am a huge fan of ASOS and the amount of posts on the blog are a tell tale sign, last week I got the chance to combine my love of ASOS with my love of London to put together this outfit post. I’ve been in London almost 18 months now and I never tire of exploring new places, I stumbled across Leadenhall market a few weeks ago and I’ve been itching to get back for an outfit post ever since so I popped back with my photographer Martin and took a few snaps. A few weeks ago I did my monthly ASOS haul to give my wardrobe a little bit of a refresh, my favourite thing about ASOS is the value for money which combined with next day delivery can be quite dangerous! Looking at my wardrobe it’s predominantly black with a few splashes of colour, I really struggle to dress in colour but it’s something I’m working on. So no surprise really that my whole ASOS purchase was black, I tend to focus more on texture and materials for outfit detailing, I am a huge fan of leather and neoprene at the moment which helps to break up my many all black ensembles.
I bought this amazing neoprene bomber jacket and love how oversized and boxy it is due to the fabric, I paired it with pleated wool blend trousers for a great contrast in textures. I then opted for my first formal pair of shoes since my trainer addiction kicked in, went for some classic brogues with patent detailing to liven them up. I love the all black look because it’s clean and minimal but still has a fashionable edge to it, It’s pretty much all I wear through autumn and winter.
Take a look below and see what you think, keep an eye on the blog for more outfit posts coming in the next few weeks!
