The world of fashion moves so quickly it’s hard to keep on top of seasons, if you look hard enough you can already find Christmas editorials starting to pop up here and there. Before we get ahead of ourselves there are still plenty of AW16 lookbooks we are yet to see, the latest menswear lookbook from Reiss has just been released. The British high end brand has made a name for itself with it’s effortless chic for both men and women, a recent expansion in the US has proven that their iconic styles are a hit both sides of the Atlantic. What I love about this lookbook is that you can view it on the site and see exactly when to expect the products in store, going back to it being hard to keep on top of seasons sometimes lookbooks come out so early it’s hard to tell how long you have to wait for the looks you love! Reiss have sorted that, click on any item on the site and it will give you a quick shop option or the month it’s due instore and online. Genius. As always the focus here is on heavily tailored looks building on the companies notoriety for expert craftsmanship, chunky knitwear and a sporting vibe helps break up for formalwear. Quite a broad colour scheme for autumn but that plays as a strength, greys and whites help give a casual element which is a refreshing change for Reiss. I’m a huge fan of the leather jackets and double breasted blazers, one of each would be the perfect statement pieces for your AW16 wardrobe – so easy to build countless outfits around them without having to break the bank.
